Lars Peter Andersson

Hi, I’m Peter Andersson. I was born and I grew up in Sweden. I studied dentistry at the University of Gothenburg from 1982 to 1986 with Lars Sennerby, my friend and co-founder of Feltre Clinic.

At the Branemark Clinic, where Lars had started working, they held training courses and a Sicilian doctor asked Lars if there was a dentist who was willing to help him open a dental studio in Italy.As he couldn’t, I went there. It was 1990. I lived in Sicily for three years and a half, then I moved to North Italy, in Veneto, where I started collaborating with various dental centres.

I opened my first studio in Fiera di Primiero with my colleague Damiano Verrocchi. Then in 1996 I set up my studio in Feltre in Via Damello. It grew so fast that I soon decided to move it to the current facility.

In Clinica Feltre I mainly deal with diagnostics and prosthetic dentistry, on implants too. Naturally I also manage the clinic.

My aspiration has always been to make people feel they are patients, not numbers, because I believe that every person is important, regardless of what they need: an oral hygiene session or an expensive rehabilitation treatment: for me and all of us they have the same value. I can ensure this approach also thanks to a very well-organized staff that supports me and a team which is made up of skilled collaborators and includes specialists in the main dentistry branches.

I consider myself as a lucky person. Why? Because having the chance to study and work with your best friend, who is also a brilliant surgeon, is a gift. In almost 40 years Lars and I have only quarrelled once. It happened in 1982. I remember we were in France, in a camping. He poured beer over my head…you can imagine how I reacted, but I was the one constantly teasing him!
